About The Author
S Kalavathy is currently Professor in the Department of Mathematics, R.M.D. Engineering College, Chennai. She specializes in Operations Research and Applied Mathematics with a vast teaching experience of over 22 years. Prof. Kalavathy completed her post graduation from Anna University, Chennai and obtained her M.Phil. Degree from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappali. During a career that spans more than two decades, she has taught a vast array of subjects like Engineering Mathematics, Operations Research, Probability, Statistics and Random Processes, Business Statistics and Real Analysis. She has authored three books in mathematics for engineering students.
